I know I owe some of you updates. I am working on it I promise. Also, I will be posting about all things Lulu, on her blog www.100percentlulu.blogspot.com. Now don't rush over there because there is nothing to see!!! But I am on it. Really... just as soon as I get some sleep. I am TIRED.
Lulu is the bomb and my family is completely enamored. I love her dearly but this is a lot of work... I got some adjusting to do.

ReplyDeleteCutie Pie! Congrats. I can't wait to read more about your trip! Don't worry, you'll adjust. It just takes a little time.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Yes, it is a TON of work. It took me a long time to adjust...even though I loved her like crazy, it wasn't an instant mother/daughter bond. But nine months later I am completely bonded to my fabulous daughter. Whenever you get overwhelmed, or feel guilty about how you are doing with motherhood, just remember that it WILL get better.
ReplyDeleteLulu is absolutely adorable!
Hey girl!!!! It was so nice meeting you! I hope everything is going well with your precious one! Samuel is doing wonderful! but one day at a time!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! She is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel; it takes a while to get fully "with it" when you return home. Lulu is gorgeous. Can't wait to read more about her at her blog!

welcome home family! She is just beautiful. I hope things fall together soon on the job and insurance front. Lucy is sensing some competition in the cuteness department.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Robbin. I'm sorry that we didn't get to meet you in Ethiopia. Hopefully Grace and Lulu will play together some day!
ReplyDeleteGet some rest! It DOES get easier!

Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!
ReplyDeleteHi Robbin,
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is absolutely precious. Congratulations! I was wondering if you took pictures of the babies in the Gladney Care Centers while you were there. Our baby is in the Foster Care Center #1. I would love to send you her picture and name to see if you have a picture of her. I know you are very busy, but if you get a chance to e-mail me my address is cscroggin2000 at yahoo dot com and our blog is www.selamandlove.blogspot.com
Thanks!
Carmen
Congratulations on your beautiful daughter.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if your insurance company has relented but you can get the Insurance Commissioner Office involved and she'll have coverage before you know it. We had issues with our 3rd peanut...once I called the ICO, we had coverage by the end of the day.
Blessings!
Robbin,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog via the FBI list. I noticed that you live in SE Michigan. We are in Ann Arbor. Our son Turo is also from the Sidama area of Ethiopia (I was on Lulu's blog). We just moved back to Michigan from Dallas, so we haven't connected with any other adoptive families yet. We would be up for meeting for a playdate, coffee, lunch and/or dinner. I can be reached at livewithlaughter at hotmail.com
